Richard H. Mays
Managing Attorney & Partner
Richard H. Mays is a Partner and Founder of Mays Gore Gipson, PLLC. His primary areas of practice are general civil practice, with emphasis on real estate, environmental, oil and gas, contracts, and civil litigation and appeals. He counsels clients on governmental regulatory matters involving those subjects, on pending legislation and other issues.

Civic Activities
Mr. Mays was a delegate to and Vice-President of the Arkansas Constitutional Convention of 1969-1970; President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Arkansas Bar Association; and has served on several occasions as a Special Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court by appointment of the Governor of Arkansas.
Education & Publications
Mr. Mays attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a LL.B. Degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has authored numerous articles on legal subjects and has regularly spoken at numerous environmental conferences sponsored by Federal Publications, Inc., Government Institutes, Inc., American Law Institute/American Bar Association, Executive Enterprises, and various state bar associations. He has authored five books on environmental law, one of which (Environmental Law Forms Guide (West Pub.)), is the largest set of environmental legal forms in publication.
Professional Background
Mr. Mays engaged in private general practice in his birthplace, El Dorado and in Little Rock, Arkansas from 1961 to 1979. He served as Department Attorney for the Arkansas Department of Pollution and Control & Ecology (now Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality) in 1980. In 1981, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he served as Senior Enforcement Counsel and Acting Assistant Administrator for Enforcement in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Enforcement.
After leaving EPA in 1988, he was Vice President of ICF/Kaiser Inc., a national environmental consulting firm as liaison for ICF’s technical and mediation services to private sector and government agencies. He then became Partner and Chair of the Environmental Practice with the firm of Pettit & Martin with offices in Washington, D.C. San Francisco and Los Angeles; with Marks & Murase Law Firm in Washington, D.C. and New York, N.Y.; and of counsel to Venable Baetjer Howard & Civiletti in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD.
Upon returning to Arkansas in 2000, Mays formed Richard Mays Law Firm, under which he has maintained a civil litigation practice with emphasis on real estate, environmental, oil and gas and business transactions and general civil litigation and appeals. His practice includes cases in Arkansas state courts and U.S. District Courts, including the Arkansas and United States Supreme Courts.
Biography
Hannah is an Arkansas native with strong ties to the Arkansas Delta. She was born and spent a majority of her life in East Arkansas until moving to Central Arkansas as a teen. She attended Arkansas Tech University for undergrad and went on to become a kindergarten teacher. After her time in the classroom, she worked in state government and during that time attended Bowen School of Law in the part-time evening program. Before graduating law school, Hannah joined Richard Mays Law Firm as a law clerk. After passing the bar exam, she was hired as an associate attorney where she gained valuable skills and knowledge from working alongside Richard Mays. She worked as an associate until she and Richard partnered to form a new firm, Mays Gore Gipson, PLLC.
Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, their rescue dog Auggie, along with family and friends. She loves a good cup of coffee, lake days, travel, painting and is a huge Dolly Parton fan.

Hannah Allison Gore Gipson

Hannah’s primary area of practice is general civil litigation, with an emphasis in real estate and property matters, environmental law, contracts and disputes, probate and estate litigation. She also assists with general transactional matters and is a Certified Domestic Relations Attorney Ad Litem. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association along with the Pulaski County Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas and the U.S. District Court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Biography
Born in the foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks, Nina has proudly called Central Arkansas home for most of her adult life. With nearly five decades of experience in the legal field, she has built an exceptional career defined by dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client service.
Throughout her 49-year career, Nina has served in multiple roles, including legal secretary, office manager, legal assistant, and paralegal. This depth of experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a successful law firm and the ability to keep complex cases and operations running seamlessly.
Today, she serves as the Office Manager, Legal Assistant, and Paralegal with Richard Mays Law Firm, PLLC. In her role, she oversees the firm’s daily operations—from managing office logistics, ordering supplies, and scheduling client meetings to handling bookkeeping and coordinating communications. She also plays a vital role in the firm’s legal work by drafting, proofing, formatting, and filing pleadings with the court, organizing case files, and preparing exhibits and correspondence.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering reliability, Nina is the heart of the office and a trusted resource to both clients and colleagues alike. Her decades of experience and dedication continue to strengthen the firm’s commitment to excellence and integrity in serving the people of Arkansas.

Casey is an Arkansas native, born and raised in the Arkansas Delta, where he spent much of his life before relocating to Central Arkansas. He attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway for his undergraduate studies and went on to become a licensed mortgage loan originator, a career he excelled in for more than eight years before transitioning into the legal field. His background in real estate and finance provides a valuable foundation for his work in law, giving him a unique understanding of contracts, transactions, and client needs.
Casey serves as a Paralegal with Mays Gore Gipson, PLLC, where he provides comprehensive support to the firm’s attorneys and our wonderful clients in all phases of civil litigation and real estate matters. He is regularly one of the first people someone will speak with when calling our office as he is a great listener and eager to help assist. He is known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.
Casey is a key member of the firm’s team, dedicated to supporting the attorneys (including his sister), our clients and ensuring every case receives thorough and efficient preparation!
Casey enjoys traveling and is always on the hunt for his next adventure! He loves lake days on Greers Ferry, duck hunting and spending time with family and friends, including his four legged besties, Kipley and Lady.
